For starters, I thought the beginning was rather weak reminiscent of the pulp fiction doing the rounds these days. By the beginning I mean the first page or so. Then the author got into his own and blasted rocket after rocket of literary prowess. I have read Sanderson books before, I read the entire Mistborn Trilogy and it’s one of the greatest creative works I’ve ever come across.
Steelheart had a few cheesy glitches here and there which I found a teensy weensy bit hard to swallow but overall this is one solid fast paced entertaining comic-book action read.
SPOILERS: THE ENDING WAS KILLER! !
