The Immortals of Meluha surprised me. This book is authentic and rich in so many ways! It is an epic that takes on the insurmountable task of personifying the Indian God, Shiva. I love how the author pulled it off! The setting is exotic to the rest of us but written by an Indian author; as opposed to a Tiger’s Curse which I had read earlier and didn’t enjoy because of the outsider’s perspective and interpretation of Indian environment and names, Amish Tripathi makes it very enjoyable. A very engaging read! I can’t wait to start on book two in the trilogy. I am wowed!
